About AUTOBODY autobody

AUTOBODY autobody is a gallery built on collaborations across art and design. Moving slowly by choice, we exhibit quarterly to give real time and care to artists pushing their work forward.

We’re driven by the executioners—the ones who waste no time asking if an idea is worth trying. The ones who make because thinking isn’t enough. At AUTOBODY autobody, we don’t just look for strong artwork. We look for remarkable people who jump at the challenge to try something new.

Our name comes from our setting: a stretch of La Brea lined with body shops, liquor stores, and gas stations. We’re embedded in a corridor built on movement, repair, and friction. Everything we exhibit is built in-house, shaped in collaboration with our growing roster of artists, designers, and builders.
